Community groups

The gallery is pleased to invite community groups to visit the gallery by arrangement.

The gallery has excellent facilities in a relaxed bushland setting for a day out where groups can enjoy artwork across a range of mediums.

We offer:

· art appreciation talks

· gallery art tours with the artists

· demonstrations of sculpture, watercolour painting and drawing

· classes and workshops for children or adults providing opportunities to participate in creating artwork

The gallery is conveniently located on Murphys Creek Road about 20 minutes from Toowoomba. There is vehicular access for small buses and ample parking for a number of vehicles. Whilst we do not sell food or drink at the gallery, groups are welcome to bring a picnic lunch. Alternatively we can arrange a catered meal at cost. We can also provide tea and coffee making facilities on a donation basis for the Cancer Council.

We are proud to acknowledge the grant support received under the Regional Arts Development Fund through a partnership between the Queensland Government and the Lockyer Valley Regional Council. More information can be found at the Arts Queensland web site www.arts.qld.gov.au

If you are a member of a community group, church group, school or in a carer’s role and are seeking an exciting and different destination for an outing please contact Geoff on (07) 4630 5500 or visit the gallery.
